Prime-time Podcasting

Today Apple released the latest version of iTunes, with podcasting built-in. And so, today podcasting hits the big time.

I'm usually pretty well on the bleeding edge of dorky pursuits such as podcasting, but admittedly I'm behind on this one. Even though it completely appeals to my love of all things DIY, I just never got around to finding the right software to manage my subscriptions, suss out podcasts that I'd actually want to listen to, and most of all -- my old iPod was pretty much shot.

Lucky for me, I have a new iPod shuffle that fits great in the pocket, and I have a hankering to listen to something other than Darkest Hour as I churn away the calories on the elliptical trainer. But I have no clue what podcasts to listen to...

Has anyone dabbled? I wouldn't mind some subscriptions to more mainstream radio-type shows, but I'd really love to find that awesome indie rock/music nerd podcast, maybe one that showcases great taste in music, quirky points of view... that type of thing. It's college radio all over again.

For some reason, I've enjoyed Seth & Jessica's "Worst Music You Ever Heard". They play some interesting, experimental stuff:
