Jesus H. Christ

Delicious Monster is a two-man software development company in Seattle. They make an application for OS X called Delicious Library, which lets you keep a digital bookshelf in your computer. Use your iSight (or other Quicktime-ready camera) to scan the bar codes of your DVDs, video games, books and CDs, and Delicious Library will keep track of it all for you. It'll also interface with OS X's Address Book and iCal to let you lend your stuff out to friends and not forget who has what.

They did $350,000 worth of business in their first two months. Two guys. They don't even pay rent because they work out of a freakin' coffee shop, for crying out loud.

JW:

I'd be screwed -- half of my CD collection is swag, with barcodes that have been hole-punched or been slathered with black Sharpie. That's a tuff product idea, though.
